Maybe he is still a baby.
On the weekend we went to the mall to buy the kids robes (dressing gowns). They are hard to find here for some reason. It might be because we are halfway through the winter season in a place that doesn't get very cold. We did manage to find one for Makena but no luck for Kess. He wanted a hat as a consolation prize. There was a buy one get one free promo going on, so he picked this fox beanie thing as the second hat. I tried to talk him out of it, but he insisted. He has decided it's his bedtime hat. This is how he falls asleep every night, nearly as soon as his head hits the pillow. He generally wakes up before anyone else, but I suspect he wakes up in the same position. I wish I slept as well as he does.
While I'm here, I'll mention that he did wake up vomiting last night. This was his 3rd time in around 2-3 months. Makena had her 5th time last Wednesday. We have no idea what's causing it but it always happens in the middle of the night and once they empty their stomachs the are perfectly fine. Mark and I are usually exhausted from the sleepless nights but they are fine.
We took Makena to the doctor after the 4th time. She did a bunch of tests including a stomach xray, but she suspects it's just bad luck. We will see how how we go this week.
